Soccer Recap: Lake Placid Plays to a Tie

Lake Placid came into Monday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Hardee Wildcats finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Monday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Dragons have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Natalie Velozo and Jachelle Johnson scored both of Lake Placid's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Lake Placid's draw gives them a new season record of 5-5-3. Meanwhile, Hardee's record is now 1-9-1.

Lake Placid will be playing at home against Moore Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hardee, they will head out on the road to take on Sebring at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
