Basketball Recap: Owatonna Christian Comes Up Short

Owatonna Christian played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Prior Lake Christian Royals, falling 70-15. The Sabres were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-5.

Elijah Wilson had an outrageously good game for Prior Lake Christian as he went 11-for-17 en route to 26 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Wilson's big performance that evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Lindsey, who posted eight points and four steals.

Owatonna Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Prior Lake Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
