Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Intermountain Christian

Intermountain Christian entered their tilt with American Leadership Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

Intermountain Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-20.

Despite the defeat, American Leadership Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Abrielle Huntsman had nine digs and two aces.

Intermountain Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for American Leadership Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Intermountain Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe American Heritage at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy will take on rival Maeser Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
