Softball Recap: Union Springs Beats Moravia for Their Third Straight Win

Union Springs strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Moravia Blue Devils by a score of 11-6. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Abbi Tracy was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Tracy is crushing it when it comes to hits: she's got at least three every time she's taken the field this season. Sophia Mennerich was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Tracy wasn't the only one making solid contact: Union Springs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Union Springs' record is now 3-0. As for Moravia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Union Springs will challenge Marathon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moravia, they will square off against Weedsport at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
