Bourgeois and South Terrebonne are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Bourgeois Braves are taking a road trip to challenge the South Terrebonne Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bourgeois will be strutting in after a victory while South Terrebonne will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with 17 losses in a row dating back to last season, Bourgeois turned things around against Morgan City on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Tigers. The Braves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Evan Ledet was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). William Brown also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bourgeois always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, South Terrebonne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to Episcopal.

Bourgeois' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-16. As for South Terrebonne, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Bourgeois suffered a grim 11-5 defeat to South Terrebonne in their previous matchup back in February. Can Bourgeois avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
