After a string of nine wins, Knightdale's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 53-46 to the Heritage Huskies. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 39-36.
Knightdale lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Isaiah Green, who posted 14 points and four steals. Knightdale suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 18-7. As for Heritage, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-11.
Knightdale has already played their next game, a 56-53 loss against Apex Friendship on the 25th. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-46 victory against Chapel Hill on the 25th.
