Baseball Recap: Reading Comes Up Short

Reading fell victim to Union City and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Chargers. The loss continues a trend for the Rangers in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost six in a row.

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Union City, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6.

Coming up, Reading will square off against Quincy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union City, they will challenge Homer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
