Soccer Recap: Clint Comes Up Short

Clint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Irvin Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Clint of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Clint's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Irvin, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clint will challenge rival Harmony Science Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Irvin is set to square off against their familiar foe Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
