Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 58-18 defeat at the hands of the Ottumwa Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railsplitters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-19 back in January.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Ottumwa, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-21 defeat against Mason City on the 7th. As for Ottumwa, they have also already played their next game, a 46-26 victory against Marshalltown on the 7th.
