It was a good run, but Middletown unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delcastle Technical Cougars. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Eden Alexander was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards for Delcastle Technical. The match was Alexander's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ja?Niya Wojciechowski was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Middletown's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Delcastle Technical, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Middletown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-43 loss against St. Mark's on the 23rd. Delcastle Technical has also already played their next game, a 62-25 win against Mount Pleasant on the 25th.
