Lakewood came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Boca Ciega Pirates 35-34. Lakewood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Boca Ciega, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
