After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Douglass, Surrattsville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 48-25 margin over the Crossland Cavaliers. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for the Hornets this season.

Surrattsville's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Crossland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Surrattsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-45 defeat against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North on the 18th. As for Crossland, they have also already played their next game, a 61-43 loss against Oxon Hill on the 18th.
