Rome Free Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Central Valley Academy Thunder 98-62. The Black Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Uzziah Grimes was his usual excellent self, going 6-for-10 from beyond the arc to rack up 41 points and eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Rome Free Academy's points. Surafia Norries was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 12 assists.
Rome Free Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 31 assists. They posted ten more assists than Central Valley Academy's also-impressive total of 21.
Despite the loss, Central Valley Academy had strong showings from Calvin Jacquays, who went 8-for-13 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points, and Logan Judd, who posted nine points and seven boards.
