Volleyball Game Preview: Archbishop Mitty Monarchs vs. Folsom Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Archbishop Mitty is on a nine-game streak of home wins, while Folsom is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Monarchs will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Archbishop Mitty is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Redwood.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-11.

On Wednesday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the court. Folsom sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Marin Catholic.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-105) Folsom actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 20-25, 15-13.

Archbishop Mitty better keep an eye on Khloe Wong. She was instrumental in Folsom's win, getting 30 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Wong has posted since back in October of 2024.

Folsom was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive contests.

Archbishop Mitty's victory bumped their record up to 32-3. As for Folsom, their win bumped their record up to 34-9.
