Basketball Recap: Niobrara County Takes a Loss

Niobrara County was the 49-43 winner over Southeast when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Niobrara County Tigers fell 51-43 to the Southeast Cyclones on Saturday.

Leading Southeast to victory were Ayden Desmond and TJ Moats. Desmond dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten boards, while Moats dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. The match was Desmond's sixth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Beaux Shimic, who posted eight points along with five assists and five steals.

Niobrara County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Southeast, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Niobrara County nor Southeast have any future games scheduled.
