Basketball Recap: Goshen Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Goshen can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots by a score of 51-48 on Friday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 50-40.

Goshen's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Pike Liberal Arts, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-16.

Goshen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pike Liberal Arts, they will head out on the road to take on Luverne at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Luverne's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
