Purvis kept a clean sheet against Columbia on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Columbia Wildcats as they made off with a 5-0 win. Considering the Tornadoes have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Purvis is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five contests. As for Columbia, they dropped their record down to 2-9-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purvis will face off against Forrest County Agricultural at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Purvis is facing Forrest County Agricultural at the right time seeing as Forrest County Agricultural is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Columbia, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Columbia duke it out with the Sumrall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sumrall will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Columbia surely won't give up without a fight.
