Basketball Recap: Lambert Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Lambert won the last time they faced West Forsyth and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lambert Longhorns took down the West Forsyth Wolverines 62-43. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Wolverines are ranked 289th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lambert pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.6 points per game. As for West Forsyth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lambert will head out to take on South Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Forsyth, they are taking a road trip to challenge North Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
