The Lake Minneola Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Seminole Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lake Minneola focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Lake Minneola can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match. They blew past South Lake 56-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Lake Minneola has posted since December 13, 2023.
Lake Minneola's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aliyah Perry, who scored 16 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Eva Saunders was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven steals.
DeLand typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Seminole proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 46-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Seminole.
Lake Minneola's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-7. As for Seminole, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
