Soccer Recap: Waccamaw Comes Up Short

If Waccamaw was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Marlboro County last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Waccamaw Warriors came up short against the Nation Ford Falcons on Saturday, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Warriors were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Lilah Jennings, who's now up to three this season.

Waccamaw's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3-1. As for Nation Ford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.

Waccamaw has already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Aynor on the 11th. As for Nation Ford, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Northwestern on the 11th.
