Baseball Recap: Nuview Bridge Comes Up Short

Nuview Bridge lost against Temecula Prep back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Nuview Bridge Knights fell just short of the Temecula Prep Patriots by a score of 7-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Luca Canales made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Isaiah Padilla was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Nuview Bridge's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Temecula Prep, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Nuview Bridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The last four games Nuview Bridge has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Temecula Prep, they will head out to challenge Hamilton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
