It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Peaster ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tolar Rattlers, sneaking past 11-10. The win continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Rattlers: they've now won eight in a row.

Peaster's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Tolar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Peaster will face off against rival Comanche at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tolar is set to square off against their familiar foe Early at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
