Basketball Recap: Logan Comes Up Short

Logan played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 68-45 to the Green Canyon Wolves. The loss continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Logan lost, don't look at Grayden Olsen. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points and seven boards. Hayden Rose was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Gavin Crane continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Green Canyon, going 11-for-18 en route to 26 points along with eight boards and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Crane now owns an excellent 48.5% shooting accuracy. Josh Brough also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Green Canyon, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan will welcome Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th. As for Green Canyon, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
