Spring Valley took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bonanza Bengals as they made off with a 45-24 win. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Bengals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spring Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than King Kahalewai, who picked up 265 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Adam Sahouie got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Spring Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Josiah Rivera and Anthony Scott. Another thorn in Bonanza's side was Luxctaen Isabel, who picked up two sacks and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Spring Valley has already played their next game, a 69-40 loss against Silverado on the 29th. As for Bonanza, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 20-10 defeat against Valley on the 29th.
