Velma Jackson pushed their record up to 2-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 58.8 points this season. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Velma Jackson beat St. Andrew's Episcopal 65-57 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Saints' Drew Mcdonald, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 20 points.
