Recap: St. John Bosco Academy Patriots vs. Highland Huskies

The St. John Bosco Academy Patriots had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Highland by a score of 42-29 on Thursday. St. John Bosco Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Highland saw an underclassman step up: Kylee Beck scored six points along with 13 rebounds and nine blocks. Beck is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kindle Thomason, who scored six points.

Even though they lost, Highland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. This was only their 12th loss (out of 14 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.

The win got St. John Bosco Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Highland, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

St. John Bosco Academy will head out on the road to challenge Kendrick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kendrick presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. John Bosco Academy in Idaho (Kendrick is ranked 29th, while St. John Bosco Academy is ranked 111th). Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
