Volleyball Recap: Homer-Center Falls to West Branch in First Game of Season

Homer-Center unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the West Branch Warriors on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21.

West Branch's win bumped their record up to 2-0-2.

Coming up, Homer-Center will head out to square off against Northern Cambria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for West Branch, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Somerset on the 23rd.
