Volleyball Recap: Wossman Comes Up Short

Wossman had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Mount Olive Christian by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The win keeps Mount Olive Christian at an undefeated 6-0.

Wossman will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Neville at 6:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Mount Olive Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Huntington on the 2nd.
