Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Takes a Loss

Ellsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Osceola Chieftains, falling 3-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Chieftains when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ellsworth was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Osceola work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Osceola, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-11.

Ellsworth has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Nekoosa on the 4th. As for Osceola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hudson on the 4th.
