Volleyball Recap: Chula Vista Comes Up Short

Chula Vista lost against Southwest SD two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2.

Chula Vista has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-25 record this season. As for Southwest SD, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Meanwhile, Southwest SD is set to take on their familiar foe San Ysidro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
