Northside had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.9 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They walked away with an 83-71 victory over the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 81-55 two weeks ago.

Northside's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Lord Botetourt, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Franklin County the next time they take the court. Northside will host Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Lord Botetourt will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
