Volleyball Recap: Parkway South Patriots vs. Lafayette Lancers

Parkway South came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lafayette Lancers, falling 3-0. The Patriots have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-12.

Maddy Ahearn paced Parkway South's offense, picking up five kills. Ahearn got some help from Sam McHale and her seven assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lafayette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addy Wiese, who had 11 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Wiese has posted over her last seven matchups. Hailey Lowery was another key player, getting nine assists and three aces.

Parkway South's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10-4. As for Lafayette, their win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 35-1.
