Softball Recap: Goshen RedHawks vs. Concord Minutemen
Goshen lost against Concord back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The RedHawks fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 8-7. The RedHawks just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.
Abby Snyder was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Rachel Aceves, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Goshen's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Concord, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Looking ahead, Goshen will welcome Wawasee at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The RedHawks are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Concord, they will take on Wheeler in a tournament on Saturday.
