Soccer Game Preview: Kearns vs. Hunter

Kearns hasn't had much luck against Hunter recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cougars will look to defend their home pitch against the Wolverines at 3:30 p.m. Kearns has given up an average of 3.9 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kearns lost 6-2 to Cyprus on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hunter had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory.

Kearns' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Hunter, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Kearns might still be hurting after the 7-2 defeat they got from Hunter when the teams last played back in March. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Cougars were down 5-0.
