Atascadero scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Paso Robles Bearcats by a score of 12-10. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Brooklyn Martin was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. Eden Blais also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Atascadero's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Paso Robles, they pushed their record up to 9-5-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Atascadero will face off against rival Orcutt Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Paso Robles is set to challenge their familiar foe Templeton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
