The Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrollwood Day Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Carrollwood Day, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate will welcome Bayshore Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for Carrollwood Day, they will be playing at home against Patel at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Patel will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Carrollwood Day surely won't give up without a fight.
