Basketball Recap: Parowan Takes a Loss

Parowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the South Summit Wildcats, falling 76-54. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 69-47 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Leading South Summit to victory were Logan Woolstenhulme and Blake Osguthorpe. Woolstenhulme almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards, while Osguthorpe posted 20 points and seven boards. Woolstenhulme is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 22 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryker Bowen, who put up 11 points and six rebounds.

Parowan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for South Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Parowan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-48 victory against Beaver on the 8th. As for South Summit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 79-64 win against Park City on the 7th.
