Five titles. Two runner-up finishes. State ranking in all but one year in the last 11. That's Beaverhead County earned the title as Montana's most dominant football program since MaxPreps became the authority in high school sports in 2006. The Beavers have won titles in 2006, 2011, and in three of the past four seasons. They've also — with the exception of 2015 when they weren't ranked — never been ranked lower than 10th. Longevity and titles add up to most dominant.

Billings Central Catholic ranked second, grabbing 312 points with two titles and four runner-up trophies.

Here is how the points break down:

1. 20 for a state title

2. 10 for state championship game appearance

3. Other points are based on where a team finished in the final MaxPreps Montana Football Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall, it would receive 25 points. If it finished 25th overall, the team would get one point. No points are awarded if the team did not finish in the Top 25.
