Volleyball Game Preview: Timberlane Owls vs. Bishop Guertin Cardinals

The Timberlane Owls will head out on the road to challenge the Bishop Guertin Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Guertin took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Timberlane, who comes in off a win.

Timberlane is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Salem, who was ranked fifth at the time (Timberlane was ranked 11th). The Owls blew past the Blue Devils 3-0 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Owls.

Meanwhile, Bishop Guertin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Keene, falling 3-0.

Timberlane's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Bishop Guertin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went Timberlane's way against Bishop Guertin when the teams last played back in April, as Timberlane made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Owls since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
