Texas A&M reeled in a commitment from Katy Taylor (Texas) three-star tight end Camron Horry, son of former NBA great Robert Horry.

The hulking 6-foot-5, 261-pound Class of 2017 prospect made his pledge to the Aggies after a visit to College Station on Saturday.

"I've been thinking about it a lot lately and I felt like A&M was the best fit for me long-term," Horry told 247 Sports. "They want me to be a blocking tight end but also one who can go out and catch the ball. They have big plans for me. I know a lot of colleges say that, but I actually believe what they are saying."

Horry is rated the 83rd overall athlete in the Class of 2017, according to the 247 Sports Composite, and is the son of "Big Shot Bob," who similarly played in the SEC for Alabama before winning seven NBA titles.
