Baseball Recap: Warhill Takes a Loss

Warhill lost against Grafton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions came up short against the Clippers, falling 12-6. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Warhill saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Harney, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Warhill's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Grafton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Warhill is set to face off against their familiar foe New Kent at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grafton will challenge rival York at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
