Flag Football Recap: Lynette Miguel's Menacing Defense Leads Lompoc over Bakersfield Christian

Lompoc won the last time they faced Bakersfield Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Braves snuck past the Eagles with a 19-13 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

The critical scores for Lompoc came from Madison Caballero, Mia Jansen, and Lynette Miguel.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lompoc's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Miguel was the leader with two.

Lompoc's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Bakersfield Christian, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Lompoc has already played their next matchup, a 20-18 win against Windward on the 4th. Hopefully Bakersfield Christian paid attention to the Braves' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Braves at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
