Volleyball Recap: Northwest Christian's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northwest Christian walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Northwest Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Blue Ridge between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-16.

Cadence Roberts paced Northwest Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Roberts got some help from Tatum Naber and her 29 assists. Roberts also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Izabella Bombinski, each putting up two.

Northwest Christian's record now sits at 25-6. As for Blue Ridge, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-19.

As of now, neither Northwest Christian nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
