Great Crossing was forced to take a big defeat against Frederick Douglass on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Friday. The Warhawks had just enough and edged out the Broncos 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Warhawks: when they faced off against the Broncos on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Hadley Tyson paced Great Crossing's offense, picking up nine kills. Tyson got some help from Clarke McDonald and her 15 assists. Erin Thomas controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Great Crossing's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Frederick Douglass, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Great Crossing and Frederick Douglass will both be playing Scott the next time they take the court. The Warhawks will head out to face the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
