St. Peter's Prep extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-0. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 29-28 W against the St. Joseph Regional Green Knights. The 29-point effort marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Joseph Regional fell to 4-1. Even though they lost, their still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 26 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Despite the loss, St. Joseph Regional had strong showings from Kyshawn Bryant, who rushed for 29 yards and three touchdowns, and Stalin Knowlden, who picked up 109 receiving yards. Knowlden was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 56 yards.

Looking ahead, St. Peter's Prep will face off against Seton Hall Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Marauders are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Joseph Regional, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Don Bosco Prep at 1:00 p.m. on October 11.
