Softball Recap: Half Moon Bay Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Half Moon Bay's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Mountain View Spartans on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Half Moon Bay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miranda Sarabia, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Half Moon Bay now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Mountain View, their record is now 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Half Moon Bay will host University at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain View, they will take on Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain View's pitchers better be ready for this one: Homestead has averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
