Dublin Coffman scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 13-10 to the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats. The Shamrocks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Lucas Brand was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Danny Briggs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Drew Walti was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
