While Edison put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Highland Park. The Eagles put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 13-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Kaylin Kline was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. K Harkins was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
Edison hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.
Edison's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Highland Park, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
