Prairie is 9-1 against Kamiah since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Prairie Pirates are taking a road trip to square off against the Kamiah Kubs at 6:00 p.m. Prairie's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Kamiah's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Prairie will head out to face Kamiah after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Prairie fell 37-26 to Oakley. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kamiah earned a 43-34 win over Kendrick on Friday. Given the Kubs' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Tigers are ranked 68th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Prairie better focus on containing Kelsee Hunt and Emma Krogh as the pair were huge in Kamiah's win. Hunt went 5 of 12 en route to 14 points and six steals, while Krogh posted 18 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Krogh has scored at least a third of Kamiah's points.

Kamiah pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Prairie, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1.

Prairie came out on top in a nail-biter against Kamiah in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 49-46. Will Prairie repeat their success, or does Kamiah have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
