Basketball Game Preview: Colton-Pierrepont Colts vs. Hammond Central Red Devils

The Colton-Pierrepont Colts will square off against the Hammond Central Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hammond Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Colton-Pierrepont, who comes in off a win.

Colton-Pierrepont will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Tupper Lake, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Colton-Pierrepont came out on top against Tupper Lake by a score of 43-35 on Wednesday.

Ty Farns had an outrageously good game as he went 10-for-24 to rack up 22 points and seven steals. He has become a key player for Colton-Pierrepont: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 7-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Josh Erwin, who posted ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Colton-Pierrepont was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tupper Lake only racked up seven assists.

Meanwhile, Hammond Central didn't have quite enough to beat Tupper Lake on February 1st and fell 52-49. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colton-Pierrepont's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Hammond Central, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
